Target sectors and type of target tenants

We will consider all innovative projects in the service industries, particularly technology related services (web-based services, internet mobile services, arabic web-based services ...). Projects in information technology, Bio-technology and E-Business will be given high priority and particular attention will be give to those projects that will have a high positive impact on the social and cultural environment (technologies giving internet access to rural and remote areas, projects that address the illiteracy-related issues ...).

We will target primarily young people considering the low average age of the Moroccan population. For instance:

  • young people in universities with innovative project
  • young members of large corporations who wish to join the incubator (spin off)
  • researchers who wish to develop a scientific finding into a marketable product
  • youth associations, scientific think-tanks

Range of services offered to tenant companies and Scope of business operation and training services

The intensive use of ICT tools, the organization of meetings with professionals and consultants as well as the other provided services will contribute to optimize the innovation process and time-to-market.

The support of the tenants will mainly focus on:

  • Scholarship of an amount of $350 to project holders during the pre-incubation period (6 months)
  • Products/ services / Project development: meetings with the managers of the incubator, but also with experts and the board of directors to refine the projects and help setting up the processes.
  • Market Development : Market screening and access to international databases
  • Market studies : will be conducted depending on the needs of the tenants
  • Legal and fiscal counseling: trademark and intellectual property protection, patents international protection, writing of commercial and partnership contracts.
  • Technological study: orientation and follow-up of new technologies
  • Commercial and marketing support: develop a commercial network through the Public Relations of the incubator and the partnerships with public and private players.

Counseling and support before and during the launch of new products and services.

  • Quality assessment support: set and maintain quality procedures to meet the international standards (ISO, CMM, NM…) and sensitize entrepreneurs on quality management.
  • Tenants monitoring: in order to guarantee maximum results, the incubator will supervise the tenant companies and should be aware of all new factors impacting the business. Through summary update reports and meetings, the incubator board and management will be in permanent contact with the tenants, and will therefore be able to react to any situation.
  • Financial planning: help the tenants get bank financing during the incubation period and get in touch with venture capital funds for their first investment rounds.

The incubator will develop a network with the Moroccan financial world to facilitate the access to personal bank loans for the entrepreneurs and prepare the end of the incubation with venture capital funds.

  • Business plan analysis and follow-up: help the entrepreneur correctly execute his business plan.
  • Documentation services: thematic magazines, workbooks, multimedia tools… will be available.
  • Human resources services: in partnership with recruitment agencies.
  • Web tools development: tenants will have access to a web content management system to help them build their own web site.
  • Access to private online databases (bids, economic information, marketplaces…)
