MANAGEMENT TEAM AND STAFFING
The University will commit itself to supervising the whole project. The University President, who has strong experience enterprises management, will chair the board and be involved in every stage of the incubation process.
The incubator’s management team and business mentors will be hired by the board. They should satisfy at least these three criteria:
- Competent and experimented: this criterion is decisive as the management team will have to tackle many different issues related to different businesses.
- Open-minded: to handle such a project, the managers will need to understand innovation in order to allow the emergence of new ideas.
- Able to learn and to share: This entire project is based on the capitalization of knowledge and know-how. In order to make the support to the incubed as valuable as possible, it is necessary to focus on the training of the management team.
In addition, the university will create with the support University of Fontys* in Netherlands a unit called “Students Consulting Group” composed essentially by students and supervised a professor from the School of Business Administration”. The objective of this unit is to conduct several market analyses and share them with tenant companies.
