MASTER OF SCIENCE IN CORPORATE FINANCE
The Master of Science in Corporate Finance (MSCF) is designed for individuals pursuing, or planning to pursue, successful careers in corporate financial management and auditing in either national or multinational firms. The program provides students with a thorough knowledge of accounting, taxation, law, capital budgeting, mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, dividend policy, capital structure and other topics in the area of corporate finance. The coursework is designed to provide an up-to-date understanding of the controller and finance functions in an integrated manner. The program requires 33 semester credit hours of course work.
APPLICATION AND ADMISSION
Applications for Admission to the Master’s of Science in Corporate Finance (MSCF) Program may be obtained from Enrollment Services. The School of Business Administration accepts applications for admittance for both Fall and Spring semesters. The Graduate Admissions Committee reviews completed applications and sets interviews with the promising candidates. The results are communicated to the applicants through Enrollment Services. It is recommended, but not required, that potential students take the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT). The TOEFL requirements are the same as all graduate programs.
MSCF PROGRAM TIME REQUIREMENTS
The Master’s of Science in Corporate Finance Program requires a minimum of 33 semester credit hours (SCH) of course work.
Depending on one's prior background, the MSCF program may require up to 46 semester credit hours of course work - 33 SCH of MSCF courses plus up to 13 SCH of foundation courses.

One elective course in consultation with the advisor at the graduate level for 3 SCH is needed to complete the requirements for the degree.
IV. GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS
Students must earn at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in all course work on their degree plan. The grading in all foundation courses is done on the Pass/Fail basis and will not be counted toward the degree cumulative GPA (see Grading Policies). Any graduate course in which a C, D or F is earned must be repeated. Students who are required to complete a number of foundation courses cannot take more advanced courses before passing the required prerequisite foundation courses.
