The Administrative set up of Housing office involves a team of young, active, qualified and dedicated staff ready to serve students and assist around the clock.

Housing desk

The Housing desk deals with all maintenance requests inside dorms. Requests include plumbing, electricity, heating system and ITS complaints. This service is reachable at the extensions 3000 for male residents and 700 and/or 888 for female residents.

Health emergencies

The Housing office handles emergency cases outside working hours of the infirmary. Housing officers are ready for assistance in emergency cases or illness by calling physicians and assisting patients. Housing emergency service is reachable by dialing 3333 and 555 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

Social assistance

Hall directors handle other social tasks by providing a large variety of assistance to residents. Hall directors do

  • Assist students in solving their problems inside Dorms and encourage the development of friendship among students and a sense of belonging to the University. 
  • Assist in settling down roommate conflicts.
  • Organize listening units to talk about the students problems and try to find ways out.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to residents in case of medical emergencies in co-ordination with the doctor on duty.
Cleaning services

Rooms are cleaned once every two weeks according to a pre-defined schedule. Cleaning is a technical operation that aims at maintaining University property; it is by no means a complete maid service. This service is free of charge. Residents can also request additional cleaning services at a rate of 25 DHs per hour.  Residents and students can pay for extra cleaning at the business office, twenty four hours before. The receipt should be brought to the housing office.

In-door activities

The Housing Services organize different indoor activities for all residents. Some main activities are:

  • Cooking
  • Scrabble and chess competitions
  • Electronic games competitions, e.g. play station  
  • Henna evening
In addition to other games that are ready for check out (cards, monopoly, scrabble, trivial pursuit…etc)
