Equipping Mind, Shaping Personality
Welcome to the Division of Student Affairs
A word from the Vice President for Student Affairs
In an effort to support the University’s mission, a fifty-strong team provides a variety of services to students, whether managing their academic files, providing them with adequate living and eating conditions, quality health or with co-curricular learning opportunities. Wherever they are stationed, Student Affairs staff remain ready to respond to students’ needs and make sure they make the best use of their time at AUI.
The variety of services offered all aim at providing a safe, warm and enriching environment to all students. The large variety of co-curricular activities organized on campus complement the classroom learning and offer an opportunity for experiential learning. Involvement in the University community or the community immediately outside the University walls is an important component in the education we offer. Service to the community, a graduation requirement for all undergraduates, aims at developing in all the students an awareness of the concept of human development as a key element to all development and fostering a spirit of sharing expertise and skills with the less fortunate.
Our goal is to make our campus an ideal place that demonstrates how things should be. Our ambition is that some of the best practices students experience first hand will be transferred with them to their workplace and that they thus, in turn, will have a positive impact on those around them.
