About Admission
We are pleased that you will apply to Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane (AUI).
The University encourages all academically qualified students to apply for admission. Due to the competitive nature of our selection process, only candidates with promising academic background are admitted. A limited number of scholarships, financial aid and bank loan opportunities are available to outstanding candidates. Scholarship offers are made for the Fall only.
Undergraduate Admission is based on a review of high school records, success in the general admission test, GAT or an SAT score of 1000 and a satisfactory interview, where applicable. Registration is based on providing a TOEFL score of 530 and 4.5 in TWE (420 for access to an intensive English language program at the AUI Language Center).
Graduate admission is based on the review of post-secondary academic records. The Graduate Admissions Committee arranges for interviews with promising candidates. Registration is based on providing a TOEFL score of 550 and 5 in TWE (450 (500 for MAISD) for access to an intensive English language program at the AUI Language Center).
Candidates offered admission are required to respond to offers of admission immediately upon notification by paying a non-refundable confirmation deposit of 5000 DH.
All application material must be addressed to the Office of Admissions and Outreach within the published deadlines. Candidates are strongly advised to apply early to ensure timely processing.
