Undergraduate General Requirements

  • Complete and submit an online application
  • Post required application material to the Office of admissions and Outreach before the published deadlines
    1. Application Fee
    2. Certified copy of the grade sheet of the last three years of high school
    3. Certified copy of high school diploma
    4. Two Copies of identity card, “CIN” (passport for internationals)
    5. Six passport size recent color photographs
    6. Short essay of 200 to 300 words long explaining why you wish to join Al Akhawayn University.

  • Applicants (whose native language is not English) who do not have a TOEFL score of 530 in the TOEFL must pay an additional 480 DH with the application material to take Al Akhawayn Institutional TOEFL, or arrange to take the international TOEFL at Amideast. An official score report must be available at Admissions before November 30th for the spring session; June 30 for the Fall session. International TOEFL score reports typically take four to five week to arrive.

All application material submitted for admission purposes becomes the property of the University and may not be returned. Application material of non-enrolled candidates is retained for one term following the term in which the application was submitted. Students wishing to file an application after the two semester period will have to submit fresh documents.

Once the application is submitted, the student will automatically receive a username and password via email. The username and password will be used by the student to access a personal account which will serve as the sole medium of communication with the University.

The username and password are confidential.

The only document sent by the University through postal mail will be that of the official admission decision letter.

Students are fully responsible for regularly checking all the information published on the web or sent to the personal account.
All admission test results are published in the students’ personal accounts. They will not be communicated by phone or email.

Non-accepted Candidates

Applicants who have not been accepted may complete the Re-application Form to re-apply for admission the following semester and submit it to the Office of Admissions and Outreach before the application deadline for the following semester along with the following documents:

  • Re-application Fee of 351 DH (500 DH for international, transfer and transient applicants)
  • TOEFL fee of 480 DH, where applicable
  • A Short essay explaining academic activity since last applying to AUI
