General Admission Test, GAT

Eligible candidates will be invited to take a General Admission Test, in addition to placement tests in Arabic, French and English writing where applicable.

The General Admission Test measures a variety of skills acquired by candidates along their schooling. The test components are not necessarily linked to any specific field of study candidates may have taken previously. The candidate has to choose the best answer among five options provided. The test is administered in either French or Arabic. It is composed of five multiple-choice sections and a writing section: 1- General knowledge; 2- Sentence Completion; 3- Numerical Skills; 4- Spatial Skills; 5- Critical Reading. For more details about the GAT, you can view a GAT Sample.

Interview

Selected candidates may be invited for an interview with the Admissions Committee. The Committee includes academic administrators and faculty members. The interview focuses on inter-personal skills, motivation, fluency of expression and general potential. No specific language is required for the interview and not all candidates are required to take an interview. The date and time of the interview where required will be communicated via the personal account.
